Congratulations to our #PeerCounselors who recently completed training that allows them to offer overdose training and supplies, including Narcan, to clients with #substanceusedisorders. Our peers are now offering #overdoseprevention trainings to clients and their supports in our clinics. WJCS has been awarded $20,000 in ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act of 2021) funding provided by the City of #MountVernon to support digital equity programming for adults & children, in partnership with Youth Community Outreach Program (Y-COP) and the STEM Alliance. Caitlin Leon, WJCS Director of Training & Digital Equity spoke about the importance of closing the gap in the digital divide, ensuring that everyone has the tools necessary to be successful in today's ever changing, fast-paced world!
