Production has already begun, the studio shared in the announcement on May 14, 2024. Lola Tung and her cast mates also shared the news while playing volleyball on the beach.

Season 3 will likely follow the events of Han's last book in her trilogy, “We'll Always Have Summer.” In it, Belly makes her choice between the Fisher brothers while she is in college at Finch University with Jeremiah, whom she dates in the third book.
