The regular season is winding down, and the push for the postseason is heating up. These student-athletes excelled on the basketball court, in the swimming pool and at the track.

Bristol’s Angelisse Cantiello was voted Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 15-23. The senior captain had a huge game against Dock Mennonite, tallying 27 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double, to lead the Warriors to a 61-18 win. The win was the Warriors' fourth in their last five games. Cantiello received a very impressive 60 percent of the vote!

Girls Basketball:Pennsbury's Neve Davis is helping budding athletes develop confidence, connections

Lizzie Lustig, Council Rock North: The senior had a game-high 19 points in a win over Wissahickon, followed by a 15-point game in a victory over Harry S. Truman. In the Indians’ third straight triumph, Lustig scored 14 points against Bensalem.

Amelia Furman, Council Rock North: The freshman scored the first points of her varsity career in the Indians’ win over Truman.

Lily Bross, Council Rock South: Bross’ game-high 16 points all came in the decisive second quarter against New Foundations. The junior sank three 3-pointers in the quarter, leading the Golden Hawks on a 31-3 tear, en route to the 68-23 win.

Delaney Finnegan, Archbishop Wood: Finnegan led the Vikings in scoring with 13 points, and used her trademark lockdown-defense to hold Cardinal O’Hara to a single point in the third quarter of the Vikings’ 47-37 win.

Deja Evans, Archbishop Wood: Evans had 12 rebounds and five blocks as the Vikings held Cardinal O’Hara to 11 second-half points to earn the victory and remain undefeated in the PCL.

Reagan Chrencik, New Hope-Solebury: The Lions’ senior erupted for 16 points in the first quarter, finishing with a game-high 20, in a win against Cheltenham. Chrencik also had 14 points in a victory against St. Hubert’s.

Gabby D’Agostino: D’Agostino drained a trio of 3-pointers in the first half, finishing with 14 points as the Lions took a 44-10 lead against Cheltenham into halftime en route to the win. Against St. Hubert’s, she had 12 points, including a pair of triples.

Jess Whisler, William Tennent: After a slow start for the Panthers, who scored five points in the first quarter, Whistler, coming off the bench, contributed 11 points as Tennent picked up the 56-36 win over Springfield.

Carolyn Sipprell, Quakertown: Sipprell continued to put up impressive numbers while her team dealt with injuries. She tallied 22 points and 12 rebounds in a loss to Upper Dublin, and had 19 points and 12 rebounds against Kennett. Sipprell also reached a major milestone as she recorded the 500th rebound of her career.

Anna Barry, CB East: Barry had nine of her 15 points in the third quarter, where the Patriots outscored CB West 16-6, to help CB East secure a 51-42 win against their rivals.

Katie Yoder, Pennridge: Yoder, who has come through in the clutch so many times for the Rams, did it again on Wednesday. With three seconds to go and the game tied, Yoder scored the game-winning layup, finishing with 23 points in the 51-49 victory against North Penn.

Sofia Vitucci, Pennsbury: An outstanding effort in overtime by Vitucci led the Falcons to one of their biggest wins of the season. Trailing by a point with 0.5 seconds on the clock, Vitucci sank two free throws to give the Falcons a 31-30 win against ultra-rival Neshaminy. Vitucci had five points in overtime, and nine in the game.

Neve Davis, Pennsbury: The senior celebrated her birthday on Thursday by coming off the bench to score nine points, going 3-for-3 from beyond the arc in the Falcons’ win over Truman.

Lily Milewski, Conwell-Egan: Milewski continued to put up impressive numbers, as the sophom*ore scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in just 16 minutes in a win against Bonner-Prendergast. She also had 11 points and 12 rebounds in a win against a talented George School squad on Saturday.

Brianna McFadden, Conwell-Egan: McFadden put up 21 points as the Eagles battled 14-1 Lansdale Catholic, and had 12 points in a PCL win against Bonner-Prendergast.

Ava Gumienny, Villa Joseph Marie: Gumienny had a game-high 17 points as the Jems edged William Tennent 45-42 for a non-league victory. The Jems outscored Tennent 24-14 in the second half.

Caleigh Spering, North Penn: Sperling connected on six 3-pointers, on her way to a 33-point outing in a win over CB West. She scored 12 of her points in the first quarter, leading the Knights to a 27-11 halftime advantage.

Teya McConnaha, Souderton: McConnaha recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds as the Indians came back from a four-point deficit in the fourth quarter to take the 50-42 win over Pennridge.

Kay Smith, Bristol: The senior scored 18 points, a career-high, and had four assists in a 53-26 win over Simon Gratz. After starting the season 3-6, the Warriors are now 9-8, winning five of their last six games.

Isabella Casey, Germantown Academy: The junior captain had a huge game in the Patriots’ win against Inter-Ac rival Springside-Chestnut Hill, posting 20 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals. Against Baldwin School, Casey had 14 points in the win.

Saniyah Littlejohn, Lansdale Catholic: The sophom*ore was a major factor on defense in the Crusaders win against Wilmington-based Tatnall. Littlejohn had 11 rebounds and three blocks, along with four points and four assists in the 55-44 win.

Maddie Sarachman, Villa Joseph Marie: The junior won both the 200 freestyle (2:09.94) and the 500 freestyle (5:47.92) in a meet against Villa Maria, clocking district qualifying times in both events.

Siena Webb, Villa Joseph Marie: In the Jems’ meet against Villa Maria, Webb took first place in the 200 IM (2:31.97) and second in the 100 butterfly (1:09.12), meeting the district consideration times in both.

Katherine Jia, Hatboro-Horsham: Jia picked up two individual wins to help lead the Hatters to the win over CB West. She took first place in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.43 and in the 200 IM with a time of 2:06.49.

Lina Hofmann, Central Bucks West: Hofmann had a great showing in a meet against Hatboro-Horsham. She took first place in the 100 backstroke, with a time of 1:01.57, a season best, and was first in the 50 freestyle (26.25).

Layla Gentile, Germantown Academy: The sophom*ore took first place in the Germantown Academy Shot Put Invitational with a mark of 33-08.00.

Gwen Hamilton, Archbishop Wood: The Vikings freshman won the 800-meter run at the Delaware Valley Girls Track Coaches Association meet. Her time of 2:17.77 met the MileSplit US First Team gold standard.

Mimi Duffy, Central Bucks West: Duffy sprinted to a first-place finish in the 200-meter dash at the DVGTCA meet with a time of 26.16.

Zoe Charles, Council Rock South: The senior won the long jump at the DVGTCA with a jump of 17-08.75.
