ROCKLAND— The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from June 1-14.

Michelle L. Creamer, 38, of Cushing, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston Dec. 22, 2023, dismissed.

Billy W. Curtis, 35, of Waldoboro, failing to make oral or written accident report in Rockport Jan. 8, 2024, $250 fine; failing to notify of motor vehicle accident in Rockport Jan. 8, 2024, $250 fine, all suspended.

George E. Gilmore, 38, of Rockland, criminal trespass in Rockland April 19, 2024, $350 fine.

Robert Grover, 22, of Rockland, violating condition of release in Rockland June 4, 2024, 24 hours in jail.

Jessie A. Guerin, 28, of Glenburn, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Camden March 3, 2024, $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.

Rachel A. Loomis Lee, 54, of Rockland, operating after registration suspended in Rockport Feb. 22, 2024, $50 fine.

Neala Maloney, 50, of St. George, violating protection order in Warren April 22, 2024, 24 hours in jail.

Tina J. Minson, 55, of Rockland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston Feb. 1, 2024, $150 fine.

Anna Morkeski, 37, of Waldoboro, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston Feb. 9, 2024, $500 fine, restitution $199.58; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston Feb. 10, 2024, $500 fine, all suspended, restitution $199.58.

John Prior, 43, of Bremen, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston Feb. 10, 2024, $500 fine, restitution $199.58.

Jason R. Randall, 43, of Rockland, operating after habitual offender revocation in Rockland Jan. 6, 2024, 30 days in jail; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston Aug. 27, 2023, 96 hours in jail, restitution $857.98; violating condition of release in Thomaston Aug. 27, 2023, and Sept. 4, 2023, 96 hours in jail; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston Sept. 4, 2023, 96 hours in jail.

Kevin Roenisch, 44, of Thomaston, terrorizing in Camden Aug. 8, 2023, dismissed; terrorizing in Camden Aug. 8, 2023, 364 days in jail.

Samual B. Rogers, 30, of Hope, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Rockland Feb. 23, 2024, guilty, restitution $176.62; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, two counts, in Rocklan Feb. 24 and 26, 2024, both dismissed.

Jacob West, 38, of Union, operating after habitual offender revocation, one prior, in Rockland April 29, 2024, $1,000 fine, nine months, one day in jail; violating condition of release, two counts, and attaching false plates all in Rockland April 29, 2024, 30 days in jail; probation violation for original conviction of domestic violence assault in Rockport Oct. 21, 2022, 11 months in jail, probation revoked.

Donovan I. Williamson, 26, of Thomaston, probation violation on a prior domestic violence assault conviction in Rockport Dec. 10, 2023, 90 days in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, with priors, in Rockland March 3, 2024, guilty.

Jason Young, 46, of Cushing, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident in Rockland Jan. 29, 2024, in Rockland $500 fine; failing to make oral or written accident report in Rockland Jan. 29, 2024, $500 fine, all suspended.

Barnes was arrested shortly after midnight on Jan. 27, 2023, when police responded to a report of a man in a physical altercation with a group of people and allegedly threatening to fight them with a hammer and chisel.

When police responded to a residence on Knott Street, they learned that Barnes had fled the scene through a window, but they were able to locate him after searching the area on Spruce Street, according to the affidavit filed in court by Rockland police.

Police said that Barnes was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and before he fled, was armed with a hammer, struck a woman, smashed items at the residence, and also threatened to fight law enforcement officers when they responded to the scene.
