AUNT SONJA’S SPINACH AND ARTICHOKE DIP
INGREDIENTS
2 bags of frozen spinach
1 can of artichokes
½ cup of mayo
2 cups of sour cream
1 8 oz package of cream cheese
8 oz of mozzarella cheese
16 oz of parmesan cheese
2 tsp of garlic powder
Salt and pepper
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Place all ingredients except 8 oz of parmesan cheese in 9 x 12 pan and mix well.
(Be sure to drain artichokes well & soften cream cheese to make mixing easier.)
3. Top with remaining cheese and place in oven.
4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until cheese is melted and you see bubbling on the edges.
5. Serve with your choice of crackers or chips and ENJOY!
Hey guys I’m making one of our holiday favorites um the snack on today while we’re cooking um just a um Arch choken spinach dip so two I’m using two bags of um chopped spinach just Frozen I let them saw out just a little bit um some mozzarella cheese blend with prone parmesan
Cheese a box of the 8 oz Philadelphia cream cheese and then we’re going to add some sour cream and arti chokes okay I’ve added my spinach I’m just going to I drain the arch chokes a little bit I’m just going to kind of break them up as I put them in
Here they do go a long way sorry we have a kid playing back there the playing so um and there’s no telling what she’s doing um they’re going to break it up just spread it out I like she’s building something back there um we’re just going to break it up
Everywhere I love arti CH in there we’re going to just add the cream cheese you can soften it ahead of time but you don’t have to cuz I’ll actually stir this about halfway through baking so I’m just going to add a block of cream cheese all over
So we going to add about about half of this um this is a 8 o or S Ser 16 o can’t talk 16 oz cream sour cream about half of that and then we’re going to add a bag of the provolone and mozzarella I normally just add mozzarella but for some reason I
Bought this pack and most of that and then we’re just going to stir this together and then um we’ll bake it for a little bit stir it again and then top it with some um Parmesan cheese okay so I’ve got everything everything in here I’m going to add some garlic on
Top and some pepper and then we’ll stir that in when whenever it bakes a little bit cheese melts I’m just going to put in the oven on 375 for about 15 minutes and then stir it and then cook it maybe another 10 minutes oh okay so um we got this
Spinach dip out Char CH about stirred it really well mix that cream cheese in and we actually decided to add some bacon that we had left over from breakfast which you do not have to do this we just were sitting here thinking about it and thought it would be good um so we’ll
Just add the bacon all over just like Kaye said whatever makes your heart Happy how much ever you want you can mix it in with it too if you want and we’re going to add parmesan um cheese on the top I was at showed how to make this years ago by my sister-in-law
Sonia and I’ve just kind of changed it up a little bit um as we’ve made it through the years but um then we’re just going to bake it like this you bake the spag and arti choke dip for like maybe what 10 minutes stirred it baked it another 10 to 15
Minutes we had topped it with bacon for something little bit different we tried that before and then on cheese I prefer mine with Triscuit another thing we don’t substitute Brands and then um Kaye prefers hers she’s eating prefers hers with um white corn chips or just chips
You know use Wheat Thin things like that R crackers which they’re good too so good
