The past few years have been full of Greats: The Great Resignation, the Great Regret, and even the Great Stay. Maybe now we’ve come to the Great Crossroads – a point when employers have to decide if they’re going to accept this new norm or throw up their hands and return to their past ways. (Spoiler: The latter isn't going to help you win talent in this still-very-tight labor market.) Our team at Gilman Partners is in a unique position to hear from both job candidates and hiring managers -- and what we're hearing is that their expectations aren't fully aligned. Thanks to the Cincinnati Business Courier for allowing me to share our thoughts on this topic.#2023trends #jobmarket #jobmarkettrends #jobmarketinsights #cincinnati #grownky

I totally agree. "Rewinding the workplace to 2019 isn’t business as usual and it’s definitely not what most workers want."

I totally agree, Angel! You can literally see the shift unraveling in the workforce both inside and outside of organizations. I just finished reading Gallup's latest book, Culture Shock. We are in for an interesting ride!

I'm not an expert in the area of philanthropy like my super-impressive fellow panelists (looking at you Shelly Deavy, Clare Zlatic Blankemeyer, Laura Menge, CAP®, and Tiarra (Comer) Owens). Instead, my goal in the discussion is to help other business leaders understand the role philanthropy can have in helping you and your team feel more connected to the community, develop new skills, and expand our professional/personal networks. While your calendar is still relatively clear, register now for this August 27 conversation co-sponsored by Impact 100 Cincinnati and the NKY Chamber Women's Initiative (through the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce). We look forward to seeing many of you!#grownky #philanthropy #womeninphilanthropy #community #communityconnection #employeedevelopment

I’m so proud that Gilman Partners was named a Cincinnati Business Courier Best Places to Work finalist for a second year in a row. What makes me happiest is that finalists are determined by survey responses directly from our team members. I have the best job I can imagine—and much of my own satisfaction comes from the people I get to partner with every single day. I’m also grateful for our former Marketing Director, Jeni Schmidt, who encouraged us to apply in 2023. I miss her but know she’d be so very proud to see us repeat this recognition. 🧡💙

I'm immensely proud of the GP Elevate program and the impact it has on participants and their organizations. This isn't just a feel-good leadership program -- we're told over and over how participants have actually changed behaviors in addition to how they see themselves as leaders. This isn't about leadership theory. Participants leave every session with tools and ideas they can implement immediately -- and many they can incorporate down the road. This isn't a "fixer" program. We take high-potential leaders and help them become even better. The skills that help many leaders move up the org chart aren't the same skills that help them climb higher. GP Elevate is focused on THOSE skills. And we've been trusted to develop 115 leaders through our 10 cohorts.I'd love to tell you more about how our program can help you or a high-potential member of your team -- in any function. Join our virtual preview session (link below) or reach out to me and we can talk privately.#cincinnatiohio #cincinnati #grownky #leadershipdevelopment #executiveleadership #executiveskills

We're looking for an executive recruiter based in the #Louisville market to join our Gilman Partners team. The executive search consultant will lead/assist with retained executive searches as well as develop new business in a wide variety of industries. Are you interested in the role? Do you know someone we should talk with? Ideal candidates will have a robust network in the Greater Louisville area, a strong commitment to community and professional involvement, and a track record of doing what's right and not just what's easy.#LouisvilleKY #executiverecruiter #executivesearch #jobopportunity #nowhiring #recruiters #consulting #communityinvolvement
